How Smart Marketers Are Leveraging AI

Almost 2 years ago, I attended a marketing forum on the subject of AI. The discussion was lively with the participants evenly split between those that were worried about AI making them irrelevant and those that were excited about marketing with AI. Someone made the cheerfully insightful comment that "None of us will ever have to start with a blank page again." This really sums up the way AI has been playing out with smart marketers.
As a member of the OpenAI Forum (parent company of ChatGPT), I have been blown away by the continual advances and the laser focus on making AI a truly useful and non-threatening tool.
I am seeing the terms "Assisted Intelligence" and "Augmented Intelligence" being used by large tech companies such as Intel and NVIDIA more and more: the point being that the partnership between machines and humans is what makes AI an exciting and imperative tool.
Once marketers learn how to fully integrate AI into their workflows (the process requires a gentle learning curve and more importantly a dedication to ongoing education), they are free to focus on providing additional value to their organization in terms of strategy.
Developing, implementing and monitoring strategy takes time that most marketers, until now, just haven't had. Now with AI taking off some of the workload in terms of creating and leveraging content, marketers have the bandwidth to focus on strategy. So do it, go all in. AI has given you the great gift of time to do it.
